The Charon Stitch Scarf

Quick scarf created from a special stitch that works up beautifully, drapes just right and is easy to master.

I’ve created this step by step written pattern- as well as a video for the stitch on IGTV.

American Terms

Difficulty: Comfortable Beginner

Comfortable with rows and basic stitches.

Yarns I used:

I used bulky weight yarn in Lion’s Brand Scarfie Yarn. One skein = 5.3oz/312 yards. This pattern uses exactly one skein of this yarn for an adult size scarf without tassels. You can make yours bigger or smaller but you may need to add another skein.


Colors needed for pieces: I suggest one but use what inspires you!

Recommended Hook size: 6 mm

Supplies:

  • Yarn

  • Yarn Needle

  • Scissors

  • Crochet hook

  • OPTIONAL: extra yarn for tassels or pompoms

This is a straightforward scarf that is worked in rows.
